Stanford Cardinal vs Michigan State Spartans
If you like good defense and smash mouth football, then you'll be in heaven watching this game. This won't be a high scoring game since both teams run ball control offenses and rely on their defenses to put them into positions for easy scores. Stanford clearly has the better offense, but the Spartans are better of defense. This came could easily come down to a play on special teams and that favors the Cardinals and Ty Montgomery.Prediction: Stanford 17 Michigan State 16

UCF Knights vs Baylor Bears
On paper it doesn't look like a great match up, but this has the makings of a good game. We know that Baylor is going to rack up the yards and points, but UCF's offense is no slouch either. QB Blake Bortels is rising up the draft boards and a big game here could vault him to the top QB spot. But I'm not sure the Knights offense has the capability to go score for score with Baylor. To win this game they'll need to force a few turnovers and be opportunistic. That just seems like a lot to overcome.Prediction: UCF 27 Baylor 41

Oklahoma Sooners vs Alabama Crimson Tide
This is a bad match up. Alabama was largely considered the best team in the nation before their last second lost to Auburn, while Oklahoma has been inconsistent all year long. But that doesn't necessarily mean the Sooners will get thrashed. Alabama has a tendency to lay eggs when they're not playing for the National Title. But even with that, the Tide are so much better than Oklahoma and the Sooners struggles at QB will be magnified against a good Alabama defense.Prediction: Oklahoma 13 Alabama 31

Clemson Tigers vs Ohio State Buckeyes
This could be the opposite of the Rose Bowl with both teams having porous defenses and high scoring offenses. Clemson will rely on the duo of QB Tajh Boyd and WR Sammie Watkins while the Buckeyes rely on the ground game of QB Braxton Miller and RB Carlos Hyde. Clemson might be more explosive which could hurt their defense by keeping them on the field longer. And you know that the Buckeyes and Urban Meyer want to prove that their loss to Michigan State was an abnormality. Look for the Big 10 to get the win here.Prediction: Clemson 31 Ohio State 34

Auburn Tigers vs Florida State Seminoles
Our National Title should be a fun game to watch. We have two explosive offenses where Auburn has an exotic rushing attack while Florida State's pro style offense is lead by Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston. The Auburn Tigers have had a magical season, but they've needed two miracle victories to get here. While the Seminoles have steamed rolled through their competition. Sure their schedule wasn't the toughest, but still part of that is the depth of talent that has them playing at an extremely high level. This should be an exciting game, but look for the SEC's streak of National Titles to come to an end.Prediction: Auburn 27 Florida State 31
